Finally Finished!

After finishing this scarf, I decided to leave the ends visible instead of weaving them in.  A few bags of beads later, this is the result:

I love how it has all the colors I associate with spring.  Pinks, greens, a touch of aqua and blue with cream tying it all together.  You can see other pictures of it at:

Kind of reminds me of beaded items in the 70’s….


The rest of the day was spent volunteering and running errands.  For someone who “works at home”, I don’t seem to be home much!

I did get a clients order completed for tomorrow and had one fitting here, which went well.  I’m ready to cut out the jacket & lining from the clients fabric at this point.

Knit a bit on my sock from the corn fibers and am half done with the next spa cloth ……also knitted.

And, the big news in the studio here…… mannequin arrived from etsy seller, crochetgal.  Put the little lady right to work modeling the new scarf, as well as re did some pics of the silky ruffled scarf from this week.  The pictures of it look so much better on the mannequin;  what a difference!
